Bale End Caps
White, UV-treated heavy-duty bale end caps in two sizes.
4 mil stretch silage tubes for ensiling grass and legume forages and storing high-moisture hay, available in four sizes.

Klerks Lastic Bale Tubes provide a way to ensile and protect grass and legume forages and store high-moisture hay. The stretch silage tube has a memory that shrinks down tight around the bales, applying one complete single layer of film. The thickness is 4 mil. Baled silage is adaptable to many dry-hay feeding systems, including round bale feeders. It can be unrolled in the field with less leaf loss than dry hay, or chopped and fed from the Lastic Tube. A Manitoba Agriculture comparison of dry hay and baled silage, cited in the product information, reported 25% feed savings with a baled-silage feeding system, along with less waste. Savings are not guaranteed for every operation. Four sizes are available: 4’ x 150’, 4’ x 220’, 5’ x 150’ and 5’ x 220’. Packaging is 40 per pallet for the first three sizes and 32 per pallet for the 5’ x 220’ option.
